Turbo: to pull or not to pull

When you pull the motor, how much stuff can you get done with the motor pulled? Is it best to set up the turbo mani, external wastegate, turbo, etc etc when the motor is out, or when it's in the bay.

I did my entire turbo install without hardly touching the engine. I think I pulled the intake manifold to tap some bungs and hide some lines underneath it, but there wasn't any reason to go to the trouble of pulling the motor.

It depends on what you are doing, are you doing any internal work?

Ahh, he left that little detail out haha. No internal work will be done. I'll be leaving the m20 stock besides ARP studs, and welding the head.

I dont know why you are still doing this, you are gonna get popped just like everyone else in nor cal. Especially since you live in a town where the cops are bored.
