    are they all the same?

    so fella, in the midst of buying a shift linkage rebuild kit. question is the seller says its for a 325e. i have a 89 325is. question is would this fit. i tried looking at bavauto where he said he got it from, the part number is srk e30i e..couldnt find it..any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys!:D

    one version has one longer end rod, and the other version has them both the same. the one with both the same will not fit the cars designed for the one with one longer one. i learned this the hard way when my selector rod broke.

            i think the longer one is for late models. i'd get under the car and check.

              although i guess if you used the knuckle that came with the kit, it wouldnt matter.
