I would go with DTM fiberwerkz. They are a pretty well known bmw parts maker and I would trust them.

so what ever vlad does , lets all do that. I would actually go with VIS just because ive seen the weave on their hoods and its pretty damn good. fitment however is garbage on all these hoods.

no offence to ary or vis, but ALL fiberglass body kits will take SOME work to fit and work like a stock
M-tech does. just be aware of that.
if you are looking for a "bolt on" go for a real M-tech.

you CAN make it fit like stock, but you will need to put a little effort into fitting it and making brackets ETC.

now that you know this, don't throw a fit when you have to put a little work into the kit to be happy.

I do have some question if i buy a hole kit how does it work with shipping is there a group shipping rate? What would it cost for a full Mtech II kit with shipping i would like the kit with the panels ? I have a 89 and a 85 2 door dont know what one i will be putting it on yet, i know with the 85 i need to drain the oil for the board shocks but is there any major differents in the install from the 85 to 89

Do you have any experience with them?

My suggestion is to not even consider a fiberglass kit as it will shatter at the first encounter with a parking curb, will not have the original mounting points, and therefore will cost a lot to fit like an original. Therefore, spend a bit more and get an original M technic part.

There's a reason why fiberglass parts are very often described as "for racing" or "for show". The lack of friendliness with daily duty.
