ok 2 quick question.

are 2 door and 4 door e30s the same length, i mean are the chasis the same IS THE WHEEL BASE THE SAME?

and could you swap a drive shaft out of a 2 door eta into a 2 door i car or 4 door car?

Yeah, they are the same as long a sthey are similar vintages and transmissions IIRC. Pre85 had a slightly different shaft.
