Just get a NEW one made by AMC. AMC is a spanish foundary that does thousands of different aftermarket head applications.I bought one 4 yrs ago and have had no problems with it.At the time an OEM BMW sans cam was $1800 vs $900 for the AMC route.It was a bargain then since used heads on Ebay used to go for $700+.Now the AMC heads are usually around $650-$800 complete sans cam.Dont believe the internet rumors.They are good even Metric Mechanic states it.

when i did my head, before i knew anything about cars, i went with one of these, the same one i think, came complete. good shit.
