    help!will an automatic e36 m3 tranny fit an e30?

im wondering because i found one forsale in my area and its cheaper than all the e30 trannys ive seen around, im wondering if its a simple bolt on or if i should just stay with an e30 tranny...?
    thanks!

It will bolt on as M20s and the M50 engine family share the same four bolts. Not worth the hassle though. I have an E30 auto tranny in vancouver for you. 50 if you come get it.

210k out of an 87 I. Came out of a car I bought with broken rocker arms. Tranny was good before the engine died.

If you want it. I have no use for it. I have lots of early model engine stuff if you need anything else.

^good idea. Might as well do it while the tranny is dead.
