New Member, not an E30 owner :( yet.

Herro there. My name is Ryan and I am from The whales vagina (aka San Diego) I am a 21, a full time student and work full time at Starbucks. I heard about this site from a local e30 owner on a local forum.

I have been looking for an e30 to save and make my project car.

I own a 2000 V6 Taco and 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse with more money put into it than I actually should have out into it. Ive always wanted a "bimmer", and until recently was about to purchase a 97-98 4dr E36 M3, but financially it wasnt wise. A few e30s have been coming out of the woodworks at meets and I have been in love with them since. Most interest is aesthetic, but I joined this forum to learn all I can about tue different trims, what to look for, so when I do purchase one, I will be more than prepared.
(Import to Euro is a big change...to me atleast lol)

Hope I meet a lot of friendly people and broaden my knowledge on these very sexy automobiles.

I didnt want to post my car in the members rides...since it says for e30 pics aha. and i didnt see an introduction section. So sorry in advance if this is on the wrong place.

Heres a recent pic of my 4Ga Eclipse (and i totally understand if it isnt your cup o tea, its not a well liked car, especially innthe aftermarket industry)

Welcome! I just looked up the whale's vagina reference... reminds of when Alfa Romeo had to change the 164 to 166 for the Hong Kong market because roughly translated it meant "driver has a really big honker".

        So what's a 2000 V6 Taco?

Where do you go to school? What are you studying? And, being a full time student and working full time at Starbucks, how do you have the money to afford these two cars and how do you have time to study?!!

I'm a full time student and work part time, and I just sold my 2004 Xterra to buy an e30 to save money.

i.e. it's a necessary but somewhat unpleasant chore and they want something to make the task a little easier and insulate them from the process."

thanks the welcome. the taco os a tacoma lol. i bought it as my first car for 2gs (working at a deli and detailing cars). the eclipse i bought when i was a part
time student and a supervisor at macys. dirt cheap since it was a rental. paid it off and i expect to get rid of the tacoma soon.

Welcome. Never understood why people make screen names like yours. Anyways, search the cars for sale section and craigslist. You'll find something. I like the Elcipse, color is nice.

well, didnt know there was a guideline to making an s/n. Its what came to mind and there it is. if its bothersome, well..idk what to tell ya. its just a screen name.
