    Anyone in Van City?

I'm new to Van, and am looking for some e30 web sites and shops to frequent. I live in the west end of downtown, just off of Denman.

    Thanks in advance

Also, if anyone knows of a shop where I can do my own work, would be great!

I'm in the lower mainland about an hour outside of Van. This forum is a great source for the local "scene":

There are some r3v members on there. I don't really know of any places where you can do your own work. I know there was a place in New Westminster where you would pay an hourly fee and bring your own tools and they have lifts and stuff. There are lots of places that like to work on E30s but most of them are outside of the downtown area. Also, other than the "premium" shop (CGMotorsports) there isn't really a consensus "best" one in my experience.

The closest shop to downtown is Blitzkrieg Autowerks and they do all the work on my Audi and BMW. CG Motorsports in the BMW specialist but they are in Richmond.

Yup, that's EXACTLY what I'm looking for. There was a place like this in Calgary that I used to visit and it was abtou 20 an hour with a lift. I really don't mind driving outside of the downtown area, esp. if I can save $$$ and do the easy, routine stuff on my e30.

Any shop names of places? anything that you'd recommend?
        thanks
