switch blade keys own. I used to have one for my Jetta. Hey can you give the dealer your e30 vin and get a new key that way? Or do we have to copy ours @ cheap ass key shop?

Yes you can still obtain new keys from dealership with your vin.

but they never made switchblade keys that would work with E30s did they? I dont know how long ago BMW started making 'fancy' keys.

my friend got the vw switchblade for his mk3 and he is know having trouble cutting the key....no one wants to cut it for him because the blank that came in the switch blade is too thick and has to be trimmed....well i guess ill have to sit on this im sure this item will be around for a while.....if i can get it below 40 bucks ill take it...i think its at 36 and it ends today ill have to wait and see....
