Has anyone seen/interested in the Alpina rep footrest/dead pedals on ebay?

I've been considering for several months getting one of these. There are 2 of them. One was sold by a friend of japandrew and that sold for $200+ but haven't seen those in a while. The other ones have a fixed $199 which is still a bit too rich for my blood. My idea is to try and see if I get a quantity discount price for them. I already contacted Japandrew and as the character he is he said his friend wasn't interested in selling them at all. The other seller has yet to answer. Anyone interested besides me?

Yeah I rather have an original too, but hey I rather have a Porsche Turbo instead of an e30 but I just can't afford it. If I can save $100 or more on a piece that's basically exactly the same it's a no brainer. Plus I think the original doesn't even say alpina. Can someone confirm this? from the online pics I've found online from Alpina cars I haven't seen one with a logo.

No offense, I know lee offers top grade products but I don't like how they look. The nice thing about the alpina is that they don't look like home made or like laser cnc cut cookie cutter stuff. I like the old school look of these, with the raised nipples.
I aciually asked lee once when he first offered his that if instead of holes he could do the raised nips but he said the tooling for it was really expensive. And he no longer has the evo M style plain pedal which I do like btw.

I like the Hartge pedal that sold recently. But not $375 worth of like!

New real Alpina ones are $280, 199 for a knockoff is silly, at 120 I would bite but he wont take much of a best offer.

Well that's what I'm saying. I know I won't pay $199 either. But if we get some people we may get a better price. He has yet to answer my email though, to see if he is interested in a GB or a volume discount.

The pedal looks good but where the hell does this guy get off thinking its worth $200? When you get right down to it, its a place to rest your foot while your on the highway. I know my left foot rarely gets a break otherwise.

I wouldn't pay more than $70 for that thing. It's a plain ass piece of metal with holes in it that you rest your foot on. I know it's for a BMW, but gimme a fuckin break.

Ok guys I understand that this is not for everybody. I just want to hear from those who are interested in setting something up so we can get several at a discounted price. The dead pedal worthiness question has been beat to death in here already, I don't need to be talked out of buying one, that decision is already a go. A painting is just a piece of cloth smeared with paint, yet people still pay millions for them. The value in things is so subjective it's not even worth discussing. This is obviously for people who want to have a nice well appointed interior they can show off, have the disposable cash for it and appreciate the design aspect of a dead pedal.

                              Update:
after some back and forth the seller has agreed to do them at $165 if we get 5 people and $150 if we get 10. He only has 11 left and when they're gone they're gone he's not getting anymore. The only thing is he will only ship them to 1 person and he wants all the cash at once. If anyone wants to conduct the GB let me know. BTW the guy is in Ft.lauderdale, FL if anyone is local to him that would be a big +.
