Any1 fit 17x8 rims on thier lowered e30?

i have a frend who wants to sell me his set of TSW 17x8 BBS look rims. He says he used to have them on an e30, facelift model, but he didnt have it lowered and i never saw it personally. Has any1 here had 17x8 rims on a lowered facelift e30? I am just trying to anticipate rubbing and or any other problem. oh yeah, and i have my car lowered about 1.6 inches. as far as tires go, i am planning on gettin either 215/40/17 or 225/40/17, whichever will fit better. thanks for any info.

    Yes, they will fit.

I'm running 17x8 with 215s, and the only rubbing i have is the inner front wheel well plastic shrouds.

Make sure you run a 40 or lower series sidewall. I destroyed my fenders with a 205/45 sidewall. I went to 215/40 and have yet to have problems on my ridiculously lowered e30. I was pretty sure the fiancee bought the 1.25" drop kit, but it ended up being ALOT more than that.

Not sure if she made the mistake or if the company did, but either way, i like it.

What is the offset on those wheels?

With 215/40-17´s they will fit with a ET20 or so,
