I was just there a couple of weeks ago. Getting into the BMW plant is a little difficult. Although I was uninpressed with the BMW Museum at Olympic Park, it is a good 30 minutes of browsing. Deuches Museum, just southeast of Marienplatz is an awesome place to go. I was there for a full day and was only able to take in about 60% of it. Well worth spending a day in there. The only Starbucks in town is located on Leopold Strasse near the Giant Walking Man statue (you can't miss the statue). For places to stay, Nh Hotels are reasonably priced and have very nice rooms for the price. There are also a lot of smaller hotels off of the main drag of Leopold Strasse (side streets) and a ton more near Central Station just west of Marienplatz. There are beer gardens everywhere. Weissbier is my choice, but there are many other great flavors. Take your walking shoes because you'll do plenty of that. Don't take much (or any) USD, there are ATM machines everywhere for you to use for your Euro. The conversion centers and hotels will rape you on the exchange rate.

Autobahn between Frankfurt and Munich in the little VW diesel (car is absolutely maxed out and will not go any faster):

Don't forget the good things Hitler did.

The E30 M3, M1, and E36 325i race cars are all the shit:

beer gardens. I dont remember the name of the one i went to several times, it was around the block from my youth hostel in sw downtown munich, but it was good beer, 2 euro a liter back when 2 euro = 2.00 dollars, try the lemond + beer its rather tasty.
