    m42 turbo

    hey guys, im still a e30 noob and i was wondering is this turbo is legit, i know dasc are expensive as shit and they are not made anymore but this kit is lik 800 bucks... pretty decent


    lemme know what you guys think

    The turbos are usually crap, lots of things don't fit and there is no engine management. I would skip that and all other ebay kits. Usually the intercoolers and piping are okay though. I would just wait and piece together my own kit.

            The DASC is expensive for a reason. It's well thought out. Ebay kits are just junk thrown together. You're better off spending the money for proven, quality parts than wasting that $900 on parts you'll have to replace when you get them and see how crappy they actually are.

                piece yours together on your own: piping, intercoolers and a few other small parts are fine to get from ebay. but make sure to get a solid and proven turbo (not ebay generic)
