    What would you do?

I'm trying to figure which way I want to go with my car. I have a 91 325 convertible and I like to plan these things out and just start buying stuff and putting it together. However I ahve 2 options and cannot decide which way to go.

Option #1: Ebay turbo kit and have a kick ___ local(Charlotte, NC) shop called eurowise do the install

Option #2: Buy header and exhaust, 17lb or 19lb injectors and Mark D chip

What would you do? And feel free to make recomendations. I also considering changing the rear diff but am concerned about making rpm's too high at 75mph since I make long road trips alot and just dont wanna hear my car revving high for 13 hours....

What would you guys recomend as a good turbo kit? There is an ebay kit with a G35 turbo, is that better than the T3 or T4 turbo? What makes these kits crap? Could I upgrade these cheap kits by just picking up better parts down the road? Could I get away with a cheap kit then upgrade the intercooler and then the manifold later? The enticing thing about the turbo is that I live near Eurowise in Charlotte NC which is a shop I really trust to do the work and I am going to move back up to CT soon and I would like to have Eurowise do the turbo install simply because I trust them, then after the installation is done I can swap out parts myself...... Both options cost the same upfront and I think the turbo might be faster than the other mods, what do you think about that? Will the cheap turbo kit be faster than the second option?

Its not that ebay makes them crap, but its that anyone can sell anything on eBay so you dont know what the quality will be. On my S13 I was able to order a catback, intercooler piping, radiator/e-fans for $200/each shipped. I was fortunate that all was great except the piping that I had to cut a little.

You may not be as lucky, your talking about a vital part of your car, if it goes bad your in big trouble whereas if my catback is built like crap & rusts...it wont really affect my car [in a major] way.

eBay is hit or miss, and thats the best way to describe it

option C, buy a German Engineering turbo kit and install it yourself. Will be a true bolt on and will make very nice power. Or you could toss in a diypnp megasquirt unit with some large injectors and a wideband sensor. That's half the price of my turbo setup. That way you'll have that part situated when you finally do go turbo.

What you just wrote got me excited because this is a new thought! I can't say that I have any idea what a megasquirt unit is. Googling this stuff now! What is this German Engineering turbo kit, dont all turbos need oil and therefore need some to tap the oil pan. I was told the water and oil lines can get pretty confusing and I would not want to mess that up.... hence wanting to get it professionaly installed and then tuned
