Tested my o2 sensor. Got no voltage response at all. so i'm either really lean or the sensor isn't working. i even pinched off my return fuel line to try to force it to richen up.

you think if i pinched off my return fuel line i could effectively test my fuel pressure regulator?

    (I don't have a fuel pressure tester)

you can test the reference sensor with an ohmmeter. the resistance should be 500-600ohms. i don't think that's gonna be your problem though.

could that really hinder performance that radically? i get 27mpg

i say check your ecu...plugs, timing? crank position sensor?
today the rpm level dropped to 2k before it started doing this, so it doesn't sound like a limp mode. does this car even have a limp mode?

i did a load test on the fuel pump. 3.34 amps. thats well with in spec.

if you have an aftermarket chip that increases the rev limit to 7k, make sure you didn't put it in backwards. it can have the reverse effect and drop the redline down to 3k.

(i am kidding... please don't open up your ECU)
