clutch slave

I took the slave off my car to check to see if it was leaking and what not, it was....so i grabbed one off my parts car which was working perfectly 2 months ago so I figured it'll be fine, but while looking at it checking to see if it was binding or anythign I popped the plunger out . is it ok to just stick it back in and use it?

well i swapped the slave to the known working on, however I still cant get any pressure on the clutch... and the pedal still returns and from what i've searched and read about the clutch master should be fine....do I need to replace the master?

seems to have worked, just need my brother to come home so I can get some help bleeding it. any tips on that? i looked around and saw people said to put the rear of the car higher then the front, then bleed it threw the screw, once thats got some good flow, take the slave out of the tranny and open the bleed screw and manually push the plunger in... sound right?

I replaced the slave and master at the same time. Master doesn't take too long anyway and it's good to do em both. Just remember to take out the drivers seat (I took off the steering wheel too) so you have plenty of room to work.

As for bleeding, just get a friend to work the pedal like 5 times then hold it down, then you unscrew the bleed on the slave for like 1 second then close. Release the pedal, rinse and repeat. After a little while you should be good to go.

My clutch slave is going out as well, i'm starting with the slave & going from there. Best of luck!
