Stupid heating problem with a Dakota

Heat has been working fine until I was driving home the other night and I realized that the heat was like luke-warm at best. It does warm up though if I rev the engine. I'm thinking clogged heater-core? Coolant level is okay. Engine temp guage shows right in the middle, so it wouldn't be thermostat would it?

A friend with a Durango had the same issue. Clogged/slow flowing heater core.

Every day I wake up we drink a lot of coffee and watch the CNN
Every day I wake up to a bowl of clover honey and let the locusts fly in.

          It's a 1997 Dakota. Same body style up to 02' I believe.

Yeah, I'm thinking clogged heater core too. What's the chance of a flush working? Also: do they sell an additive that is supposed to clear out clogs?
