    new member here. need help

hello everyone. im new to this forum... i just got my e30 a month ago with broken auto transmission. found a good deal with m50 engine with trans so i grabbed it. i have 85% of the things needed to do the swap.

im having trouble installing the pedals because mine has the metal bracket or whatever you call it under the steering column and i cant get the pedal box's screw out. the metal bracket is covering the screw. can anyone help me out here? i have the 91 325is.

i tried searching and i cant find any answer. all of the e30 i found doesnt have the diy on how to remove the steering wheel column when there is a bracket under.

    First off, welcome to R3V!

If you cannot swap the pedals cancel the misson son.

I swapped mine with just the 10mm socket and two extensions. You do have to move around a bit to get the socket to line up. But it is straight forward on removal.
