Ditto. I must have seen over a hundred of them when I was in the Adirondaks last Summer. There were some nice ones at the Vanderbilt estate.

Thad, I went to that yesterday in my boat. It's the 3rd year now... Some awesome cars and boats there, although I've never walked around in the actual marina. I don't know if my friends boat was there or not b/c he is having some work done on it, but its called the BLACK DUCK and its extremely clean wooden boat in excellent conditon. His boss owns alot of those boats that were there.

Goddammit, I love those DHCs. I see so few, even going to the Monterey Historics every year - only seen a couple of them.

I saw the S7 unveiled there though, as well as the Bugatti Veyron (can anyone say "140-mph 360 spin into the dirt, first time in front of American public, and back to the drawing boards on 'aerodynamic issues'"?)

                    Yeah, that's weird.

                    They're making a twin-turbo version though.

But the performance is only slightly better than the current one...oh well, wheelspin I guess...

Oh ya, sorry. My Dad was looking for a drop head a few years back and gave up. I need to dig up some pics of his roadster. He blew the engine with 33k miles on it and put in a Buick 401 V8. Said it was scary quick up to about 80.

I'll bet. That's a hell of a sweet engine (besides longevity, obviously) to replace with a V8, though...then again, I have no issue with someone stuffing one in their XJ, so...
