    Pump/Syringe for filling Differential Fluid?

Just curious as to what you guys are using to refill the diff and tranny. It's kind of an emergency and I remember the last time I changed the tranny fluid, I used a cheap hand pump found at a local auto store and it sucked. It was a weak handpump with a hose on one side to such the fluid from the bottle (redline) and hose on the other end pumping into the fill hole. Leaks, weak suction, etc.. created a mess. I want to avoid that when I change out the diff fluid tonight.

So what do you guys use, and where can you buy it? I'm sure there's a ton you can order online, but is there something at a local hardware store (home depot, orchards, ACE) that will work? Ideally it'd be nice to have a big syringe with a tube. Thanks

I bought this thing that was pretty much a 12" hose with an adapter to screw onto the bottle of oil and you just kinda squeezed the fluid up into it, worked pretty well

I bought a pesticide/fertilizer hand pump from Home Depot. You can remove the nozzle so that you just have a hose and a trigger. The trigger allows you to pump the crap out of it before getting under the car.

yeah that cheapo pump is that small hand pump with hoses that you connect on both sides yea? I bought something similar at harbor freight and it was hard pumping that tiny handle trying to keep one end of the hose in the bottle while the other end is in the fill hole. A big syringe would save a lot of time and mess imo

I'll have to take a look at home depot to see if there's something there i can improvise to use as a syringe/pump

got to wal mart and buy a pump for lower unit oil changes used on outboards, shouldn't be more than 15 bucks. screws to the top of the oil bottle and has a hose attached to the output. slide the hose in the filler hole and pump away.
