    Side Skirt off 540

    Jordon,

I know that you modified an e36 skirt to fit your e30 and it looks very good. I was looking at modifying one off a 540i. I'm assuming that you had to shorten the skirt to fit your e30. Could you tell me what material you used to bond the parts together again, or to cap the end - whatever you did.

    Shoulda been a PM...

Plastex is a VERY stout plastic adheasive. It bonds and for all intents and purposes welds pretty much any plastics to each other.

Crappy website and layout, but good product.

Why would you want to use one off of a 540? What year are you thinking? The e34 540 skirts are something like $360/per side. for that kind of change you have a lot of choices on e30 skirts.

If you just have a set 540 skirts and want to cut them up then sell them to me instead, I need some. I'll even trade you some e30 skirts for them.
