I want to get steelies. I haven't quite figured out how the offset measurement thing works yet, though. From what I understand, steelies are measured by backspacing...I may be over thinking this but check my math...
I want a 16x8 with et20 as this would give some room for spacers if needed and adjustability. From what I've read, 8" wide equals 4" back-spacing assuming you're at an et of zero...then they're measuring from where the wheel meets the hub. And if you're et0 with 4" back-spacing then I just have to measure 20mm= ~.78" and add .78" to 4" giving a backspacing of 4.78" to equate to an et20.
is this correct?
