Car wont start after head gasket change

Ok guys so I had a head gasket that was leaking oil and had to replace the water pump timing belt and rad because was starting to over heat. Well just finished putting everything back together and tried to start it and no go. It is getting fuel I can smell it. It sounds like it wants to start but wont. Any ideas on where to start in finding the problem. Thanks for the help. As soon as I get it up and running and cleaned will be posting up some pics.

Any chance you have adjusted the valves yet? That ended up being my problem on an old car after a gasket swap.

Did you time it correctly, lining up the marks on the cam and crank before putting the belt on?

the timing is set correctly mad triple sure marks lined up right.
Didn't do anything with the valves in regards to adjusting them.
I checked the impulse sensors... are they easily switched?
          Duel lines?...

My next guess would be to check for spark.

I know how this feels i just got mine up and running after rebuilding the engine, trans, clutch, and diff. luckily mine started but my 5 was not so lucky.

that tends to be an issue.
