Die cast models suck ass. Plastic model kits are the only way to go.

These can be found just about anytime on ebay for about $30 shipped from Hong Kong.

Amazing. Both of those cars. Though they do look fairly cheap in quality.

The E30 was a legacy, a legend. Yet you can't readily find a scale model of it, unless it's an M. Don't get me wrong, an M is nice, but if you drive a non-M...you want a non M. I don't understand how I can find every version of the 2002, the 320i, and then nothing for the E30...only to find even the touring E36 and all other variants, and everything new.

              Just doesn't make sense.

Apparently no one here is familiar with the Auto Art collection. Check some of these out. I would say these are the most detailed replicas I have ever seen.

Click on page 10 to view the E30 M3s. There are plenty of 2002s, new M3s, some 635csi and others. Beautiful models.

Silly rabbit. If you'll see my original post, I mentioned that there is a surplus of M3 models, but no non-M models. Those are the unicorns we are all discussing...anyone that's ever been on ebay has seen an auto art M3 :) I do agree, the quality looks to be unbeatable...I just don't want an M model until I have an M :)

Damn, I thought I saw someone mention it. Oh well, it felt good knowing in my own mind that I was the first to post it, when in reality it was already posted.

Well, you can still feel good...I don't think anyone else posted the Auto Art collection, but they don't have any M cars. Use your searching powers to scare up a non M detailed model and you'll be a hero :)

Non-M e30 coupe and cabriolet, unfortunately you have to buy the whole set for $350 and they're itty bitty.

Nothing more than bad labeling/translation. Happens all the time with products exported from China/Japan to the US, mainly toys.
