Speed nascar channel

I think that SPEED CHANNEL should branch off a channel that would just be SPEED NASCAR CHANNEL and get back to basic's on what the main reason on SPEEDVISION/SPEED was all about. There are channels like ESPN,MTV etc etc that have other channels that have 2,3,4 other channels. It has been bugging me for along time now,say about 8 years now. They have really turn it into a almost fully devoted free for all channel to nascar and it has really ruined it for me and im sure for alot of others out there two. Almost everytime you turn it on its NASCAR, NASCAR,NASCAR NEWS,WINDTUNNEL ON NASCAR,NASCAR UPDATE,INTERVIEW WITH ......... FROM NASCAR,I HAVE TO TAKE A PISS AND WE WILL BE RIGHT BACK WITH MORE NASCAR. What happened to all the WRC, EUROPEAN ROAD RACING,DTM,BTCC,RALLY CROSS, HILL CLIMB EVENTS,THE DRIVE IN (playing movies about cars,racing etc etc). Whats your input on this ?

Its about what the market wants, you don't matter to speed. I'd suggest you get over it and head outside.

I have been holding on pretty good with my old DUKE video's from 84 to 2001 for the type racing in mind here. Just frustrated with the channel now. I went outside and took in a deep breath of fresh air, thank you.

They do show DTM racing and F1 usually...at 3 and 4am.

If I were a betting man I would put my money on NASCAR starting its own channel ala NFL channel, before speed branches off. But I agree with the over exposure to NASCAR

Speed channel is the biggest sell out, they have about 5 shows they just play over and over. Nascar has taken over Speed Channel. I swear nascar believe if they can completely saturate the whole market and all of the channels with nascar shit consumers wont be able to see any REAL racing. There for everyone thinks Nascar is the greatest form of racing in the world with the most skilled drivers. If people were able to get top level coverage for F1, the British Touring Car Championship, DTM, European touring cars, WRC, Spec Miata.........Nascar would slowly disappear.

F1 is the best racing series in the world, Period.... It has hands down the most skilled drivers, the most advanced cars in the world, and the most technical tracks in the world. I try to watch the BBC coverage of F1 over the net. the show starts 2 hours before the race and ends 1 hour after, it has full interview with drivers teams, and a ton of technical info and news. speeds coverage starts 20 mins before the race and sometimes ends on the cool down lap... WTF

I remember the sweet old days when SpeedVision was a fledgling network trying to please its audience. In the winter there wasn't much live action on the track, so they would root through the archives to find amazing racing either from lesser-known series or from history. I was a happy customer!

Dont get me started on what I think of nascar and its followers......they rate about as high as Ken Block in my book,,,,

There are so many races current and past speed could air,,,I love the hdtheatre channel when they put on the goodwood festival of speed or mille miglia, I could watch stuff like that all day. Speed is ho hum at best,, if it wasnt for F1 and ALMS I wouldnt watch it much

Yes, I miss the old Speedvision. They covered a little bit of everything in racing. Now, it is almost all Nascar. I can't stand it, but I deal with it.

Its really going to suck after this weekend. When F1 is done, I will be ready to pull my hair out.
