cut strut towers and welding them high gives the most low without sacrificing ride quality

these are Vogtlands i had on my old car. Had to remove the spring pads in the rear to get this height. It was too raked w/ them in.

FK or KW and Vogtlands are all roughly the same height. I would say at 60mm they are the lowest I know.

great thread. It's not like we have an entire suspension subforum or anything.

Truth, but i'll contribute anyway. I'm happy with the low-to-ride-quality ratio of the vogtlands on my daily, there's a three I started with pics somewhere if you search.

I think H&R Race springs + drop hats are the lowest you can get on springs

^lol, classic. Made it this afternoon to denver around 4. The e30 took it all in stride, 1700 miles in 2 days, added 1/2 quart of oil around the far side of Kansas to bring the level up just a bit. Other than that it did 80mph nonstop without drama. It's flawless performance will be rewarded with another round of fresh oil, and new wheels & tires, and euro bumpers whenever I find some. I [heart] my e30!
