Yeah I've been meaning to get a second one myself so the same thing doesn't happen. I'm hoping that the local locksmith has the blank since the normal chains don't carry it.

The other option is a blank from EBay, but I'm not even sure if my key is good enough to cut a blank from.

Someone mentioned the cost of a new key from the dealer (VIN and registration required so I'm assuming the pull the lock code from a database) is $50+.

Wow Blunt! You are well respected here.

Dont sweat the delay in responding. I had to drop 300 on parts for my Subaru.

Kits are key. I was even looking for brake kits for my Legacy. One whole package deal. I'll be putting my order in soon Steve.

Maybe we could reach a consensus of a timing belt, engine service kit, with the while you're in their parts?

          Steve,

I'd be interested in such a list as well. My next E30 should be here in a few days and I know that this needs to be addressed. Please email to collierville325ic@gmail.com I'm looking to do the t-belt, water pump, thermostat and other while it's disassembled stuff!

          Thanks!
