Yes, equal length is alway better but usually cost prohibitive. Nope, sorry, no M42 kit.

Turbo mounts down low, below the #4 cylinder. The wastegate mounts directly above the turbo on the opposite side of the manifold. The manifolds have a T3 flange on them. Cost for board members is $350. That's is a 38mm Tial wastegate in the picture.

The $350 is for board members only and for only these four. Any after that will be $595 retail.
