well, just an update, to anyone who may care, i sold the 540i & both camaros (sold one as a rolling chassis to keep the drive train). Took the money and handled some business with the remaining amount left for the 2 e30 builds. Regardless of how ignorant some of u guys come across i have to say there is something about the e30 that just makes me :giggle: everytime i bend a corner. The words of DISCOURAGEMENT somehow made me want to make something out of these two.
So, figured since there is two m20/autos to play w/, i'll turbo the one in the white car and use the one out of the red car to rebuild/stroker kit & keep it as a back up for when i blow the original (if that ever happens). I really would like 2 tackle the ls1 swap some more but don't think i have the resources to complete (hobby shop is closed down).
The question now is, do i HAVE to run a piggy back system or seperate fuel/air management right away or should i not install the turbo until I can tune it? I would appreciate it if the reply's stayed positive or informative as, thanks...
