Ok in all seriousness, you put the car into gear, try to go forward and the car won't even move?? Yet you can push the 3000 lbs car?? Are you sure it is in gear? Is the parking break on? Can you even drive a manual, assuming it is one? Honestly, I don't understand the situation at all, what rough spot are you hitting to make the tires lose traction? Did you ever get the car off the curb?? You make little to no sense what so ever... Please refer to my first response.Originally posted by ak-Support is where it's at. Like a bra. I mean shit dude!
go back to your original post, re-tabulate and rewrite every piece of information, and add some pictures if you can.
i'm 21. when i was 16 i blew out a head gasket on my chevy astro, didn't know it until i ran the damn thing out of coolant. I asked for help on a forum using very clear and collective thoughts, and i got very clear and useful answers. I pulled the heads off, had them re-mild and had a guy give me torque specs/pattern to put them back on. this was a breeze* because i was able to formulate a thought and lead it to a question.
*didn't realize how big of a job that was until a few years later!

Ok well on more time, after driving around the corner to show my friends yeah I bought a e30 for 1000 and it runs fine. So while taking out and around my neighborhood I got to the top of a hill did a U turn. After that I put the car in in gear but still let it coast down the hill. At the end of the hill gave it gas turned left good and then another left but then there's a sharp right while entering the drive way with a island of grass, I ran up on that. Supringly while I was in gear I kept giving it gas and revving and revving and it got me to my parking spot. But the whole time it was giving me' a nasty grinding sound. So while pushing the car back into the spot I noticed it still made that clunking sound but just not as loud. When I got into the spot I got into the car and started to move it back n forth with in the spot. It went into the gears but when I tryed to give it gas it didn't move any faster them it was already moving. My dad knows a good bit about these cars cause he owns a e28, so he suggested me' to find a forum to see what some people think that know what they're talking about. Untill tomorrow when I get a jack to jack it up to replace the rim first I don't know how the bearings , cv joint or the axle is. Only the back side roled up so I'm guessing that it's something back there , and that's where the sound is coming from

So when you ran up onto an island, you then proceeded to try to off road the E30 over the island?? I still don't get this whole "spot" business. Is english your second language??Originally posted by ak-Support is where it's at. Like a bra. This guy has his bra off though. He lives dangerous and shameless; i like him.

when it's reving, as you claim, is there any sort of vibration?
part of this sounds like you delaminated your clutch disc, while the other part sounds like you clearly broke something in the back. how many miles are on the car?
i can guarantee you'll need a wheel bearing, which is sorta a pain to replace on this car. Also replace any thing back there that looks bent. i imagine your half shaft might be damaged too, so make sure to replace that. once you get your rear end squared away see how it drive, only then will you find out if you have clutch damage. (not sure why you would, exactly but it sure sounds like you do.)
is english your second language?
