If you go to German Ebay and search "BMW Jacke" you'll see some intersting Motorsport jackets come up from time to time. I picked up a 1999 BMW LeMans jacket from one of the Motorsport crew who was selling a few things out of the closet.

This guy leaving the Outback I used to work at walked in with a white Puma track jacket with the M stripes on the sleeves. It was pretty badass. Probably because it didn't have any BMW logo, just the stripes. I've been looking for months for it... (Should've just asked him)

Does anyone have any information on this jacket? I searched the web for a hour and found nothing. If there is nowhere to buy it then im going to have one made, cause that thing is bad ass.

It may have been made new for this event, they certainly have the money. But it is a riff on a Head jacket licensed by BMW back in the 70's. Came in white or dark blue, with the motorsport stripes. Guys wore tight jeans that showed their ass, so the jackets were short at the waist but had sleeves that went to the cuff. The cuffs had a zipper to open up the sleeve. It was similar to ski jackets of the time.

On Ebay, if you search "BMW Jacket" long enough these pop up from time to time. I've got one of these in my BMW Jacket collection.

Though not the same jacket, here is a similar Head jacket on Ebay from that era. With the semi-rare M1 motif on the inside.
