It was $500 fucking dollars and it's 25 years old.

Learn how to check out a car better.

Where is the car now? I would daily that until I have time to take it apart. I'd just park it where I wouldn't have to reverse.

Whats with you guys wanting to return cars after you bought them. This isn't the return line at wal mart. You bought it, now eat it. Sold as is, means AS IS! Not trying to sound mean. But dont take someones word, look the car over, take it for a drive and use your head before you make the jump.

Id say just go to the kid, explain the situation and hope he is understanding. Being a prick will likely get you nowhere. Be nice and tell him had you known reverse didnt work you would have never bothered.

    Good Luck
I read that thread. Just sux being on the otherside of the story.

Yea i dont think the kid wants to give me the money back. And I have the tittle but no its not under my name.

He should take the car back. My buddy bought a car which was supposedly a 325is from some guy. He brings it home, i look it over, and its a 325e with a 325is trunk lid. The guy didnt want to take it back, said sale was final. I threatened with taking him to court and he took it back the next day. That car was a piece of shit too.
