2006 325i thoughts?

My dad is looking at 3's for sale, and we found a really clean 06 325i loaded for 15k. It has 60k on it, auto, premium, sport- charcoal with black leather.

Thoughts on this purchase? We both prefer 5-6 speeds but mom wants an auto so she can drive it too.

Is there a better car for the money? (BMW only, of course!)

A 335i sedan would be awesome but is much more.

A lot of people i've met, really wished they got the 330i or the newer 328i because of the extras and a little more power; the car itself sounds like a decent deal though.

I'd hold out for a 330. I had an e46 325 coupe and it was a great car but I think you could get a nice 330 for $15k. If you do want to go the 325 route maybe find a little older car for a lot less $$.

GET A ZHP! I regret selling mine every day. They can be found with 60k ish miles for about 17k maybe less.

Not a fan of the e46 at all, have driven 6 of them. The 07 328's are much better? We just test drove the 06, it has a bad steering rack- they're going to get back to us about that!

I have an AW 330i. Totally maintained, 127k. New suspension. CCV. Tuned and ready.
