Is it worth it? 91 318ic

    guy wants $3500
91 318ic with a stopped odometer at 175k in 2008 and cracked dash (isn't that bad)
paint and seats are in really good condition.

I want to buy this car for my brother... he needs to join the e30 family... my dad had two e30s and now drives an e28

LOL... leave it with the 16 valves, turbo it, and drop it. Luke knows not what he speaks of. :D

This car is for my brother. I want him to have a slow car, so a 318 is perfect for him. He just got his license back after getting it suspended, and still has two points on it.

however, when he gets tired of it (in a few years), and gets a newer car, I will have my way with her haha...

Looks like it is in really nice shape. I paid 3k for my '89 325ic, and the interior wasn't quite that clean

Sounds like a good deal, but i wouldn't buy it for a non-enthusiast. Save the really clean ones for those of us who will really appreciate them.

it maybe a 318 but it will still move. Get him a bicycle...

                      back on track.

dont know about west coast but thats a good price for east coast. We recently bought a 100k triple black stock 318 vert for a customer for 4k.

the thought of that car in the hands of what sounds like a rather irresponsible individual pains me...

jesus... I was asking your guys' opinion as to whether you thought it was an good deal, not whether you though my brother was a responsible human being...
the fact is, he got his license suspended because he didn't show up to a court case in Santa Barbara, that was for minor in possession of an open container when he was 20 on Halloween...

If it pleases anyone to hear, my brother decided not to buy a car for now because the bus takes him to practically the doorstep of his work.

and as I said, we grew up with my dad driving e30's and an e28.
He would have taken better care of the car than the seller.... this guy only had it for 3 months and didn't know what the shit he was talking about... bought it off some international student
