      Even better.

cause you arent going to pick up anything but dudes in a 1975 P car.

chicks will think that thing is a big money car- hence the flashy blue paint. its a ride for a balla on a budget.

I would drive it, but its not really my thing.

I hear the real trick is to buy a 964 or 993 and back-date it to the early body spec.

It's funny that you posted this. I'm working on a '69 that has 993 GT2 exterior panels. Same deal, but it's a hard top car.

And as others have said, the original looks way better...

This is the only picture I have of it right now. Just imagine that the front end is attached-

*Gotta edit out a tag number before reposting this picture..*

                  And the engine-

In the meantime I'm gonna post up a picture of a '75 Carrera that I absolutely love---

Usually when some one does that to a car, (like the CL ad) it has been in a wreck and bought by someone as a wrecked car. I worked on a lot of slope nose conversions (convertable non turbo 930....huh? ) and a few 993 conversions. Under the new body is usually cobbled up car. I doubt that the 75 they started with was a nice car to start with.

yes original old school body with the new power would be awesome.

I'm not sure what the years are, but I love the early 911s with the chrome trim. I was raised in a Porsche family and after driving countless 911s, 951s, 930s, etc. I would say that our '78 911 was the most fun.

My dad's current P car is also a blast to drive, a Strosek fender kit on a 928 with a fully built GT motor running megasquirt:
