Electric pressure washers pretty much totally suck.

Honda gas is THE only way to go Dustin.

Thanks for the thoughts. It would be nice to have less cords running everywhere and the psi of a gas one sounds good. I think i'm going to look at the ~$300 hondas.

Show me an electric 7k psi washer, i have to see this.

I always used gas- I always thought the electrics were light duty. I have a 6hp 3300 psi Subaru. Light enough to load into the truck myself, and at low enough throttle its not very loud. Its paid for itself about 20 times over already.

gas is more convenient for sure, and generally more powerful too.
I used to have a real nice electric one though, 220v power, around 7000 psi, and extremely reliable. that thing was a beast.

What are you using it for?
We use an electric for cleaning screens (screen printing) inside at our shop.
If you're using it for an engine bay or your house, I'd say gas though.

I have a honda gas pressure washer. It's awesome, portable, and very reliable and easy to start.

If I had space and a bit more fundage, I would def go with gas. I got my electric for free so I cant complain too much. The power cable is a pita.

Gas is more portable. I have a Karcher electric & constantly wish it was gas (and steam, but that's a different subject). My problem is that not only do I have to run a hose for the water, but also find an outlet with 20A service and a large-gauge extension cord that can handle the juice required to run it. A gas one would eliminate a trip or two every time I move it. Then again, it would require a trip to buy fuel every now & then.

if you want something that works and lasts, gas for sure.

once it's warm, starting it should not be hard.

I used a honda power washer in my engine bay once, it was really nice.
