    Timing belt, water pump, fluids

So I'm looking at picking up an 87 325is 140k on the clock, belt hasn't been done in a while.

What am i looking at for price installed? Who do you go to to get it done? I'm in Queens, car is in NJ - would be interested in getting it done ASAP.

    Thanks for the info.

if you know what you are doing you can do it yourself in just about 4 hours. If you take it to a shop expect 350-750$

pelicanparts.com is a good place to get parts

When people ask you what car you drive and you say a BMW and they get all excited until they see it...

The best place to buy parts is from steve at http://www.blunttech.com/

here is his r3v account which he is active on 24/7 http://r3vlimited.com/board/member.php?u=8939

When you are doing a timing belt job you should replace the thermostat and the waterpump. If you have bad radiator hoses this is also a good time to change those as well.

Levent and Guten is the place to be from all my research here and on the other E30 forum.

I emailed him and my buddy called him but we havent heard back.

Plan is to do the timing belt, water pump, and thermostat as well as any hoses that need to be replaced.

I'll try Guten again in a bit.

Thanks for all the input and i hope to be a happy E30 owner very soon.
