    "dynolicious" iphone app...

    anyone try this out yet?

    it uses GPS and the accelerometer built in to the phone to map various performance specs.

    obviously they arnt 100% accurate but ive heard they are pretty comparable to most of the little dedicated units you can buy and put in your car.

    anyway, i tried it out for the first time today on a highway on ramp...

    not awful for a bit of tire squeal, and going up an incline. i hope to find a nice deserted stretch of flat road soon to really give it a go -

    I've heard some good reviews on this as well. Unfortunately, when I tried it(fully calibrated) it said I was doing 273 mph or something close to that. lol. Maybe I'll give it a try again when I head to the track and after I dyno the car. Prolly just user error.

      after calibrating for it to work proper you need to have it level, facing forward, and in place securely...
      i d love to put it side by side with one of those g-tech pros and see how their results compare to each other.

        i have it for my Ipod touch and syncro325is has it for his i phone and it seems to work pretty well i gotta say. Its def not 100% but its works.
