One of the good advantages working for AutoZone

Not only do I get my discount on my parts (witch isn't much btw) but I get to see great cars come thru once and a blue moon. Check out what I saw this morning.1974 BMW Manual 4spd dual carbed. I don't know much else about the car myself but it was nice enough for me to take some cell phone pix. (Sorry for the crappy quality of the pix in advance). I don't know how cool this car maybe but I thought I should share anyway.

Of all the cars in all the world - why in the name of holy hell would someone want to put fender lip chrome on that !?

I'm not completely defending the chrome arches, but it doesn't look THAT out of place with all the other chrome bits on the car.

For some reason i cant fathom, people put those chrome covers on E9s fairly regularly.

Back in the 80's the chrome'd arches were very popular. Probably put on then.

              Nice 3.0cs it appears.
