Go EAD, LAYV, SMB, LMA, KMA, AND GFY.
Now, please post the video of you "apexing" and then subsequently spinning out on a straight-away.

Or pictures of 7" lights would suffice.

Weight transfer is probably the most useful thing you can learn about especially with RWD cars.

20 and no accidents or close calls yet. probably don't drive nearly as hard as some people, but i have fun, and haven't had trouble yet.
you have two very nice cars - so you need to knock on some huge wood for that comment. I really do not want to see either of those damaged, especially the henna.
I had a conversation with a friend of mine the other day about people wrecking their cars. I think that we all get some leeway in the beginning of your driving life as far as luck goes. I think that as time goes on, you run out of luck. you become old enough to be aware of the fact that
                  - there are better places to drive like that
                  - there are financial/legal consequences to stupid actions
                  - the financial/legal consequences DRASTICALLy increase over the age of 18
                  - people die from these actions

People need to realize that when you're commuting on the street, you're commuting. Its not a race to see how fast you can get from point a to b (unless you live in L.A.) People need to get out to their local auto-x's, find lapping days, ect. People who say they are good drivers and have no auto-x, track day, ect. experience have absolutely NO credibility. I don't care if you think you can "drift" or do burn outs and cut cookies in empty parking lots or other shit - because all that proves is that you know how to waste tires and abuse the hell out of your car. I'm no driving expert in my own right, i've got a lot to learn - but i'm going to the track/autox ect. to learn those things. Just in this season of motorsports, which is my first year driving, i can already see how much more i know about car control. people need to stop driving like dipshits, making excuses about why they wreck, ect and actually go out and learn how to drive. we've lost too many cars in the last month to careless shit.

back on topic - that sucks that your car is damaged. It doesn't look that bad, and it looked like a straight car - it'll fix up fine. Just learn something from this and it won't be a waste - and it won't happen again.

Man, shit on here just keeps getting more interesting. Why does everyone have to get tempers flared over dumb shit?

I can personally attest to Chris's driving skills, I raced him at F1 and he beat me good :) As far as Chris not admitting to his r3v's, what about his drowned rat of an IS?

People need to chill out on this board, these high tensions sure don't attract new members and aren't encouraging those of us who have been here a long time to stay.

                      POST AS A STICKY:
1.IF YOU CRASH YOUR CAR, DON'T POST ABOUT IT, NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCES.

                      2. IF YOU IGNORE #1, BE PREPARED TO GET POSTS ABOUT HOW YOU CAN AVOID SUCH ACCIDENTS IN THE FUTURE, THINGS YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE TO AVOID IT, AND PEOPLE STICKING UP FOR YOU IN RESPONSE TO ALL OF THESE WORDS OF ADVICE.

                      3. IF YOU CAN'T TAKE CRITICISM WHEN YOU WRECK YOUR CAR, REFER TO #1.

                      4. IF YOU SEE A POST FROM SOMEONE THAT CRASHED THEIR CAR AND PEOPLE GIVING THEIR ADVICE ON WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN DONE TO AVOID IT, DON'T COME RUNNING TO THAT PERSON'S DEFENSE. WE'RE ALL (almost) ADULTS, WE CAN FIGHT OUR OWN FIGHTS.

Seriously, if we can stick to these rules, we won't have three pages of NUH UH and YA HUH's.
