So, there ya have it. The quote included replacing the ENTIRE front radiator core support, which is friggen bullshit. I'm pretty sure the plastic cover behind the headlights wasn't even removed, so they didn't even take a close look.

It will be paid for by the person that hit it - we're just trying to keep it from getting a salvaged title. If it did over this, that would be pathetic.

There is some good to come from it - that driver's side fender was rolled out by our genius cousin. And the passenger side got a big dent from some ass at her school. So, we'll replace both fenders, hood and I'll convince her to trash the sealed beams.

Seems like a fairly straightforward fix, sweet that your sister drives one! Definately upgrade to ellipsoids though, how can you let her drive with those poorly lit headlights?!?! :D

When my parents suggested that I leave my 318 for my sister when I go to college, I pictured this in my head. haha but seriously, the body shop is a joke.
I was quoted $960 to fix a dent that one of my classmates made last friday, on my rear quarter corner.

Keep looking around for salvage parts. That hood is a big ticket item. I saved about $800 on parts for my little dent. The paint and body work is something not to skimp on though.

I wound up with the salvage title and months of arguing with my insurance over the value of the car. Eventually they paid me but it was a long conversation. Still had to pay $3900 for the paint and body work.

My sister is dragging her feet to get this all figured out so no idea when we will reach a conclusion...
