Elipsoids, did I get a good deal on these

I got this set off someone for $69, both are brand new Hella US elipsoids without the bulbs or plugs. (The boxes where factory sealed). So was this a good deal? What would be the norm someone would pay for these?

Thats a good buy for you .

But realisticly no e30 enthusiast is going to give you a ton of $$ for those .
They would rather buy used Euro ellips for about less than double what you paid for those .

if u were to sell them, u could get at least $160+... i see used US ellips go for about $120 all the time.

I'm not looking to sell, I picked them up because I have sealed beams on the car right now.

sealed beams are far superior to US ellipsoids, I don't have any lights so could I buy those from you?

I personally paid over $300 for a mint set of Euro ellips, and sold them almost immediately after posting for the same money months later.

Some of us are willing to pay for quality stuff.

He's just messing around. US ellips (especially those super clean ones) will be a significant improvement over your sealed beams.

Also, PLEASE purchase some Lamin-X or 3M protection for those lights to keep them looking that way. Otherwise they'll likely be ugly within a year. www.lamin-x.com or www.bavauto.com
