Russell Speed Bleeders... anyone use em?

    Hey guys-
I just got a set of 6 Russell Speed Bleeders. They are bleeder valves with a check ball in them, so you don't have to open and close the bleeder between pushing the pedal and everything... pretty cool idea, and I plan to put them on my M3 for easy bleeding...
anone use these or seen them before? I got them off of E-Bay...

I will probably just use them on the Clutch Slave Cyl as its the biggest PITA too bleed...

how many do u need per e30?

cuz for $45 bucks u can get a power bleeder from bavauto or bmpd.
when u have easy access to all the bleed nipples, u can bleed the brakes & clutch in under a minute. won't ever have to get in the car & pump the brakes or clutch.

yeah i've used speed bleeders before. They're a snap, and it makes bleeding a one person
      job.

you would need 3 kits for an E30 and you would have one left over.
you DO need to pump the clutch and brake with a power bleeder, as you need to flush the fluid through the cylinder by displacing it. I use them at school, but they are not always available. I am going to just keep these on hand for when I need them....

How often do you bleed your brakes man?

That $30 buys me something else more useful.

well, racecar guys do it every single weekend... some do it after EVERY RUN!!

I personally bleed my brakes every 4-6 months, because I have the means to do so.
I bought these bleeders for working on other people's cars, so I can throw one on the clutch slave and it will always be there for future bleeding and easy of bleeding when I do work.

whe you are broke, $30 seems like a lot of money, but when you work and want something to be as easy as possible, then you just do it and spend the money.
just my 2 cents, not pointing fingers, most of the time I am broke anyhow. 8)

good stuff i'd never try to take it off your hands anyhow, it'd be like stealing a lolypop from a baby.

when i get my m3, looking for a completely stock one to build up.
i am never going to let it leave my family untill the day i die, then i'd leave it for my favourite grand child :)

                      I bought a
uni directional valve, plug the hose on it both sides, one on the bleeder valve and one in a bottle, then just pump the brake and it gets flushed real easy,

then over to the next one and so on, real easy, cost $12
