Hey everyone!
I am the proud, new owner of a red 1989 325ix. I've been looking for the right one for several years now. It will be shipping from Reno, Nevada this week and should be in St. Louis in about 10 days. First thing's first, it's going to need a new timing belt and water pump (which I already bought).
A little about me... I'm a former Marine who loves BMW's. This will be my fourth. My first car (13 years ago) was a '83 320i. I've also had a 2001 325i, and currently have a '83 320i sitting in the back yard. My first taste of all-wheel drive came from my current daily driver, a 2007 Mazdaspeed 6. I have been a moderator for the Mazda 6/Mazdaspeed 6 section and Missouri section of Mazdas247.com for a couple of years now.
I'm looking forward to being a productive member of the site and thank you all for the wealth of knowledge I've already been able to take advantage of!
Chris
