Have still never seen one in person. I would sell the E30 and (LITERALLY) give a nut for this car if the opportunity ever came available.
If that car belongs to Audi NA, I have sat in it. It is awesome. They bought it back from a race shop that had two, on built for pikes peak, and that one....
Here is the link to my thread.

Those and that picture are Audi UR quattros. The one I posted is a Sport quattro.

In 1984, Stig Blomqvist won the Rallye Côte d'Ivoire in the Audi Sport Quattro, driving mostly sideways. In 2011, Audi reps allowed me to nurse a road-going version, wheels forward, around a private racetrack. Blomqvist may have had more fun, but my heart was nonetheless attempting to burst through my chest.

These are not the regular fastback UR you see a bunch of all the time. They didn't sell the Sport in the US.
Yeah I know the difference, didn't realize you meant the sport quattro specifically. Makes a bit more sense why you haven't seen one lol.

There's a little shop/dealership/??? about 40 mins from me with a white Sport Quattro parked in front of it. What an amazing car. Over the years, I've seen two 3.0CS's there, a CSL road car, a few nice E28's, and a bunch of other euro stuff. I have no idea what's going on there, and I never have a chance to stop because we only pass by on the way to race weekends.

Seriously? You guys seem to see all sorts of awesome care out there on a daily basis I never see.

That said, I have seen 5 of them in one place. Granted it was a rally of all places (go figure), and Michigan's UP has a rather eclectic mix of interesting cars. Anyway, 4 of them were pretty standard URQ fare, the 5th is owned by a guy I know somewhat well, he's a huge rally fanatic and even bigger URQ buff. I literally see old Group B Audi stuff posted by him daily on FB lol. This is his car, he was fast med sweep for the 2009 event. He was legitamitely faster than most of the 2wd guys, and he wasn't even 'running' in the event. His codriver kept yelling at him to slow down lol. Here's said car:

I believe it started life as a pretty standard US-spec car, but he is constantly working to make it a Group B clone/replica/tribute whatever. I rode it once at an autoX and all I can say is it's stupid fast. (Engine isn't stock at all, I think he figures it's well over 400hp at the wheels.) Very awesome cars, and the sound they make is one of the best things your ears will ever hear.

    Newer shot of his car:

Porsche 917/30, the most powerful Can-Am car ever made, and right up there with the most powerful cars of any kind ever made. 1,200HP with bursts of up to 1,580(!) for qualifying. 0-200mph under 11 seconds.
