    TRUNK busted.

    So when I bought the ES, something was amiss with the trunk's hinges, but I hadn't the time or the energy to figure it out.

    Go to open it today, and couldn't get it shut without serious maneuvering. Not good.

    Took it off the hinges to see what was up. Looks like the mounting points for the driver's side hinge have come clean off the damn car. Fun stuff.

    Do these need to be welded back on? Is there another way? Has anyone else had this happen?

    I have the same problem right now, but i am also trying to figure it out... any one have any insight on it?
