Harbor freight for the win. Might as well take advantage of cheap chinese labor while it lasts before we become the cheap labor.

Should I even ask about compressors?

Actually, garage journal has some semi-decent reviews of their compressors. I think they're hecho in mexico. Check out garage-journal's comprehensive harbor freight pass/fail thread.

I love Harbor Freight. There's just some stuff you don't there, plain and simple. Most stuff tho, that place is wonderful!

I found if you buy the HF "racing" jack, Take the side bolts out one at a time and put a few dabs of blue loctite on each bolt your problems will be minimal!!
Remember cross threading is the only thing stronger than loctite!!

I was on the fence about the compressors but for the price, I gave one a try. I got the 21 gallon a few months back and seems to be worth it.

I did buy a jack there in the beginning of the year (the one with the LED lights on the pad) and the lights crapped out. I had the wnt and brought it back for exchange...that one crapped out the first time used. Not worth the hassle but it jacks up fine. I dont care who makes the jack, a stand will always be used...or at least the best use for a bcap anyway.

I love harbor freight. When I opened my shop I would have loved to buy snap-on everything but the bottom line is Harbor fright let me get the things I need for a price I can afford. Besides you can always upgrade later.

HF rocks. Save all your made in USA crap. Cheap is cheap and if it lasts any duration at all I probably need a new one anyway. Had their alum jack for 3 years now. Works fine. Metric sockets, ratchets, etc. Working fine.

That engine stand looks like a drive over there tomorrow. Thinkin on rebuilding me a M20 here soon.
