    from F1planet:

His advantage means he can wrap up the title at the very next race in Singapore - and with five races to spare.

    What he needs is:
    * He has to finish on the podium to stand a chance of winning up the title.
    * If he finishes fourth or lower, something he's only done one this year, the title race will continue into the Japanese GP.
    * If Vettel wins the grand prix, he needs Alonso to finish fourth or lower, with Button and Webber third or lower.
    * If he is second, Alonso has to finish eighth or lower, with Button and Webber fifth or lower and Hamilton must not win.
    * If Vettel comes home in third place, Alonso has to finish ninth or lower, Button and Webber seventh or lower and Hamilton must not finish in the top two.

Kubica pretty consistantly outpreformed Heidfeld and Petrov,, he was really screwed over by bmw when they pulled out as they had a great car and never spent any $$$ to develope it knowing that they were calling quits after the FIA basically told manufacturers they were not allowed to spend freeley on their cars/engines. I like the guy as he is pretty humble(or so it seems) quick and just want to see what he can do with a top car, which I think ferrari may have next season with the blown diffuser ban.

I've never been a fan of Kubica, but I hope he recovers and comes back to the sport. I just don't think all the hype for him is warranted, as he only beat Nick Heidfeld one year out of their 3 or 4 years racing as teammates. He has never done much to impress me really except for his attitude which as you said is humble and usually respectful. He is a much better qualifier than Heidfeld, but Heidfeld would usually finish higher, or at the very least, always finished, usually in the points.

Though I think there are too many question marks when it comes to Kubica so I do hope he comes back just as good in the cockpit as he left and gets a great car so I can see whether the hype is warranted or not.

Well 25 minutes into practice one and I am already yelling at Mark on my computer for doing a dumb move on Timo into a turn, and part of Heikki's car has caught on fire again this year already lol. Okay it was just his brakes so nothing compared to last year....

Can anybody stop Red Bull? They might have to bring back reward weights to make it more even. Lol, jk, but for real WTH? Those darn cars are flippin fast...and Vettle is a robot, or an alien or something. This is even more crazy than when Button won his champoinship.

                      Somebody please stop Vettle. j/k

Singapore keeps producing quite exciting races if only for strange reasons, like Piquet cheating, Grosjean doing the exact same thing Piquet did but not cheating the next year, then Heikki putting out his car, and this year Schumacher trying to drive to the Moon!

Now we go to a circuit where Vettel and the RBR are actually good :P j/k

I was going to post before the race started that Vettel didn't have to worry about getting beat to the 1st turn with Webber right next to him, lol. I don't know what the deal is with him and starts, but he needs to figure it out... it's obviously not a hardware issue, as Vettel seems to manage just fine...

Another entertaining GP of Singapore, if you were watching 3rd place and back...
