It was a pretty good race. If Hamilton would just calm down, he would do so much better. Schumi made a few ppl happy in the fantasy league.
Today was my first time watching a GP2 race. It was pretty cool, but it was not F1.

Yeah, I watch the BBC coverage as well.
How in the hell could they possibly blame him going out on Kobash, "Why would Kobash take the fight back to Lewis?"
Well, because he's a fucking race car driver? Hamilton thought he was farther past, he wasn't and moved back across.
I also wondered why they ignored the obvious flick to the right by Hamilton after Q2, although Maldonado coming back and hitting him was completely unacceptable.
Fantastic drive by Button today.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

Hamilton is the tin cup of F1,,, he makes some passes and moves that make you say holy shit I cant believe he pulled that off, but he also does a lot of stupid self destructive crap as well. Either way he is always exciting, and hence, will always have a following and demand a lot of media attention. Which is huge in a sport like F1 where attention = sponsorship $$$$. Its just a shame some people are so blinded by their like or dislike of him they cant seperate their emotion from reality, more so with his performances then any other driver.

I think Alonso two-stopped it, which is why he was caught out on tires at the end?
Don't remember either, our power went out while I was watching the race, so I had to pick it back up a few hours later.
EDIT: And up yours to Whitmarsh, Hamilton admitted 100% fault for the incident.Last edited by z31maniac; 08-29-2011, 07:53 AM.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

^ I can see why. At least he took the blame. Not a fan of hamilton but def admire his skills and aggresion. Maybee the most talented driver on the grid but less and less it seems he is the best driver. Oddly enough his best year performance wise imho was when he was paired with Alonso. He didnt have such a massive ego back then, and drove with respect for the other drivers, more so than now.

Hamilton about the crash: “After watching the replay, I realise it was my fault today 100%,” Hamilton said via his personal Twitter account. “I didn't give Kobayashi enough room though I thought I was past. Apologies to Kamui and to my team. The team deserves better from me.”
Well good on him for not denying it at least.
