Vettel started with Toro Rosso in 2007 (plowing into the back of Webber in Fuji behind the pace car lol), pulled a pole/win at Monza in the rain in '08 for STR. Went to RedBull in 2009 and came close to the championship then.
The Webber comments aren't quite fair if its' true he isn't getting = machinery, but makes his performance more impressive that he is usually within .1-.2 with inferior equipment.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

no, they're not. They just had the best innovation with the major 2010-2011 changes and it's taken everyone else a while to make their own/copy. If you notice now (even though it doesn't really matter) mclaren have been getting closer and closer to RB. Next season promises less rule changes so the cars will be more similar in performance since they had all this year to dial them in, but as always some team could pull something out of their ass and dominate the first half of the season (Red Bull/Brawn GP).09/1989 325i 4 Door

To add on to that he technically started with BMW in 2007 at Indy. :PVettel started with Toro Rosso in 2007 (plowing into the back of Webber in Fuji behind the pace car lol), pulled a pole/win at Monza in the rain in '08 for STR. Went to RedBull in 2009 and came close to the championship then.

Also Webber is getting the exact same equipment as Vettel. The thing that makes that almost a certainty is the fact that it is Webber we are talking about here, if he felt he wasn't getting the same treatment he would make sure the world knew it.Comment

I think if anything Ferrari will be the team to beat next year. I mean I know it wasn't just one thing, but look at Silverstone when blown exhausts were reigned in just a little and Ferrari won by 20+ seconds. I hope RBR and Vettel keep winning though.Comment

^20+ seconds with Vettel leading early & then screwed by a bad pitstop and held up in traffic once released... It was still Webber & Vettel 1 and 2 in Quali.
I would like Ferrari to do well next year as much as the next (Ferrari) guy, but they've made a lot of noise the last few years in preseason and then been disappointing.

Totally true about Ferrari and their Preseason antics.
In other news RBR broke the record which was held by McLaren since 1988(Senna and Prost) by getting 16 pole positions in a single year. Simply flabbergasting considering the organizations they are up against.Comment

Its a shame that such a cool race track seems to lend itself to such BORING racing....
Massa seems to have it out for Hami now. He deserved that drive through...
Once again, MSC > Rosberg

I thought this was a funny quote of Horner:
When asked if Vettel had asked for permission to set the fastest lap at the end of the GP, Horner said: "Of course not because he knows we don't like it.
"We had done our best to manage it, we had turned all the engine modes down, KERS off, and short of putting a cow on the circuit there was not a lot else we could do."
Impressive for him to set the fastest lap with so much of the car put into "conservation" mode or whatever you would like to call it.Comment
